Mini Weapons of Mass Destruction February 25, 2011

We got a fun new book to help mommy come up with “boy projects” (Mini Weapons of Mass Destruction).  Parker was pleased with our first attempt – a catapult.  Yes, he is in his underwear – actually several pairs of underwear – I have no idea why.  Ammo of choice: mini-marshmallows (you can see one launching if you look closely).

One Board Birdhouse February 20, 2011

Parker and Steve built a birdhouse out of a single board today.  No small feet for Mr. Computer Man.  They did a great job!

Birds of Prey Center February 18, 2011

We visited the Birds of Prey Center today.  Parker loved learning about the different way the wings moved through the air.

Goo February 17, 2011

I read an article today regarding how to raise boys.  There was some mention of all things gross & slimy…so we made goo.  I’m not sure what the actual name for it is…just cornstarch and water.  Gigantic mess…lots of fun.

We made valentines for the birds today with peanut butter and seeds.  Not sure any birds got any, but the squirrels loved it!  We could see all of their little teeth marks after they scraped it clean.
